    Just bought a compilation of "l'Oeuil de la Police", terrifying stuff!
    All the Apaches in there are wearing sashes, another source mentions their yellow boots, with golden buttons(?)

    Do you know Dave Decat from Bruxelles ? If my rememberance is right, he has made in 2005 some illustrations for Carhartt about "Apaches"

    Looks to me like the sailors are US Navy and/or Corpsmen. The one with "the needles" is wearing an EGA (Eagle Globe and Anchor).
    (Great article anyway !)
    Reminds me the famous N.Rockwell painting.
    Time is running but ol' style tats still kick butts !
